A new day, a new age

A gloved hand waves hello

A masked face shouts out a greeting.

Protect, for the world is afraid..

as man is scared of meeting man

The great and small, 

the weak and strong,

All fight the same war against the same foe 

Reach out, for the world is breaking..

 invisible ties keep us linked

The virtual and real blend together

A thousand miles is now closer to an inch.

Create, for the world is starved..

let the fragrance of dreams and thoughts spread out

May beauty be redefined each time

the artist, singer or poet speaks out 

Breathe, for the world is stifled..

no race to be spared, no class left out

So close your eyes and find your peace

This too shall pass,
